Sigma Kappa Delta is the national English honor society for students in two-year colleges. Its purposes are to recognize and reward outstanding achievement in English language and literature, provide cultural stimulation, and promote interest in English.
SKD Eligibility Requirements
- Have completed at least 1 English composition or literature course (excluding developmental) with grades no lower than a B in English
- Have a minimum of 3.0 GPA in general scholarship
- Have completed at least one semester and a total of 12 semester hours
- Technical, certificate program students do not meet qualifications
