Bison Bound - New Student Experience
Bison Bound is the official new student experience at Southern Union State Community College for first-time students (excluding Dually Enrolled, Transfer, and Transient students) entering Southern Union for Fall 2026. New students, and up to two of their guests, may participate in a day of interactive informational sessions, parent and student panels, and assistance with new student registration!
Important: You must have completed a general application for admission to sign up for Bison Bound. You'll be directed to sign into your MySUSCC account to register for this event and must have your student number and login.

Here’s how to reserve your spot:

Log into your Student Applicant Portal.

Click on the “Events/Appointments” tab.

Click the “Events Calendar” link.

Under “Type” select Bison Bound.

Find your campus and register for your preferred session (you only need to register for one!).

July 7th, 8th, and 9th - Opelika Campus
