Welcome to the Social Science Department of SUSCC! The department educates students to better understand the social sciences and their application in their daily lives, and it promotes awareness of educational and career opportunities in related fields.
The department provides students a sense of the importance of cultural influences, a sense of history and its context, and a better understanding of human beings and human behavior. The department offers coursework in criminal justice, ethics, geography, history, political science, psychology, religion, and sociology.
