The WorkKeys assessment tests are administered in the Assessment Center at the Opelika campus on the first floor of the Business & Technology Center (BTC) in Room 120. This building is easily accessible from West Point Parkway, and parking is available in the large student parking lot located in front of the building.

The WorkKeys assessment tests are administered in the Assessment Center at the Wadley campus on the ground floor of the Resource Center - Ensminger Room.

Once you schedule your test you will receive an email with specific instructions.
The Assessment Center currently administers the internet version of the ACT WorkKeys assessments at our Opelika, Valley and Wadley campuses. Test-takers who successfully complete the Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents assessments earn a National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC). These three assessments also comprise the Basic Ability Test (BAT) adopted by the Alabama Peace Officers Standards & Training Commission (APOSTC).
In addition we offer the Business Writing assessment. Those who successfully complete this assessment, along with the Applied Math and Workplace Documents assessments, earn a Proficiency Certificate for Teacher Assistants.
Each assessment is timed, and test-takers are given 55 minutes to complete each (except for Business Writing, which takes 30 minutes). A calculator, allowed only on Applied Math, is provided within the testing interface. Scratch paper and a pencil will be provided by the Assessment Center.
