Student Technology Request

In response to COVID-19, Southern Union is committed to ensuring our students have the technology resources available as we transition from classroom instruction to web based learning. 

Southern Union has a limited number of laptops available to students who meet the conditions outlined below. If approved you will be able to check-out a laptop for the duration of the Summer 2020 term. In order to be eligible students must meet the below requirements:

  • Do not have a working computer, laptop, or device
  • Must be currently enrolled

Individual student request will be considered on a case by case basis.

Students who receive a laptop are responsible for making sure the laptop is returned in the same condition it was assigned.  Students may be subject to repair fees if the laptop is damage while in the student possession. 

Laptops must be returned by the end of the Summer Term.
