Ability to Benefit Retest Policy
- Candidates are permitted to take one initial Ability to Benefit test and one retest within any three-month period. A mandatory waiting period of at least two (2) weeks must be observed between the initial test and the retest. During this interval, candidates are strongly encouraged to review test content and focus on areas in which they did not achieve a passing score.
- Candidates who do not achieve a passing score on the retest are required to wait a minimum of three (3) months from the date of the initial test before attempting the assessment again.
The College may establish higher or additional admission requirements for a specific program or service when student enrollment must be limited or to assure ability-to-benefit.
