NOTICE: Students who pre-register
for a course for which they have not completed the prerequisite must
successfully complete the prerequisite before they are allowed to enter the next
course.
At the end of the term, students who have
pre-registered for a course but did not pass the prerequisite will be removed
from the class roll of the pre-registered course.
Example: If a student pre-registers
for ENG 102 during the term that he is enrolled in ENG 101 and subsequently does
not make a satisfactory grade in ENG 101, the student will be removed from the
ENG 102 for which he pre-registered.
You Must Pay for Classes at the Time of Registration

- System Holds -
If you are currently on any type of processing hold, you will not be allowed to
register, check grades, or obtain a copy of your transcript until the hold is
cleared. In most cases, the hold message will tell you which department or
office to contact to remove the hold.
(NOTE: All new students
must see an advisor before their PIN is activated. Special dates are outlined
for new student advising sessions each semester. Please refer to COMPASS
SCHEDULE for new student advising sessions. Current or former students who have
problems with their PIN should contact the records office.) Click here
for
PIN information.

Calculate Charges Button - Make sure you
always hit the CALCULATE CHARGES button to
save any changes that you may have made to your schedule. If you exit out of
this part of the Web Registration System without hitting the
CALCULATE CHARGES button your schedule will be
lost and you will not be registered for any courses.
- Grades -- A few days after the term is
completed, you can view your grades by logging into the Web Registration System
and clicking on "Current Grade Inquiry" in the main menu. If your grades do not
appear there, they most likely have been posted to your transcript. To view a
copy of your transcript, click on "Unofficial Transcript Inquiry."
- Announcement Text Boxes - On different menus
within the web registration system, you may see RED
text boxes that say "Announcements". MAKE
SURE YOU READ THESE MESSAGES. They will provide you with important information
related to registration.
- Viewing your Schedule -- If you want to
simply view your current schedule, click on the main menu link that says "My
Schedule". If you are in the pre registration or drop/add mode, your schedule is
always on the bottom of the screen (scroll down to view). REMEMBER, if
you make any changes to your schedule (drop or add a course), make sure you hit
the CALCULATE CHARGES button to save your
changes (see above).
- Exiting the Web Registration System - If you
make any changes to your schedule (drop or add a course), make sure you hit the
CALCULATE CHARGES button to save your
changes. Do not close a window by clicking on the "X" in the top right-hand
corner. You must log out of the registration system by clicking the "Return to
Menu" button and then clicking the "Logout" button on the bottom left part of
the screen.
-
Help Using the Web Registration System - At
any time while you are logged into the Web Registration System, you can access
the
"Web Registration Help Page" by simply clicking on the yellow question mark
"?" located on each menu. If you have additional questions about the Web
Registration System, please contact Mr. Adam McGheeamcghee@suscc.edu at 334-742-2981.

We
are requiring each student to notify the Financial Aid Office each term
so that we may verify remaining eligibility and to make sure that each student
actually wants to use their PACT at Southern Union instead of saving it for a
four-year institution. Please review the terms of your contract in order to
determine how you want to use this program.
You must notify the Financial
Aid Office each term prior to the early payment deadline date (if you register
early) or at the time of registration after the deadline has passed. If you
register on the web, you must still contact our office to ensure that your
tuition and fees (if available) are paid. |
|
|
| |
You may print the PACT
Authorization Form off this website and submit as instructed prior to the
payment deadline. All students should check each term to ensure that their
account is in "Paid Status." You may come by the Financial Aid Office or call
256-395-2211 or 334-745-6437 if you have questions.
