Southern Union will be issuing Student Identification Numbers that will be used in the place of social security numbers.  This is being done to comply with state law that prohibits the display of social security numbers for public inspection without the person’s consent.  Your Student Identification Number will be issued when an application for general admission to the College is submitted.

Please use your new Student Identification Number for all administrative and web applications.  If you have any questions concerning this matter please contact the Records Office on your campus.
