Governor Ivey has issued a "Stay at Home" order for the state that will go into effect tomorrow, Saturday, April 4, at 5:00 CST. Unfortunately, we must discontinue the Residence Hall move outs until the order expires. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes you.

Please be assured that your items will be secure and will remain as you left them until we are able to resume activity. We will communicate information with you as it becomes available and will resume the move outs as soon as possible.

Please feel free to contact us if needed:

Please be advised that in an effort to take preventive measures regarding the spread of the COVID-19 Virus, and in coordination with the Alabama Community College System operating procedures, the Southern Union Residence Hall will be closed temporarily, effective March 13 and until further notice. Any students remaining in the Residence Hall should make arrangements to promptly vacate the area.

The Residence Hall will be open on Monday, March 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to allow students the opportunity to gather any necessary personal belongings. Please check your student email for further instructions sent by Dean Griffin.

Residential students will receive a refund for the days that the Residence Hall was not available due to the temporary closure, beginning on March 16.  Refunds will be issued by the end of the semester.
