Academic Internship Program

The Southern Union State Community College (SUSCC) Academic Internship Program provides field-of-study-related work experience for students who are pursuing a degree and/or certificates in one of the approved programs of study and establishes and strengthens the relationship between the Company and the College in order to ensure mutual reinforcement between college curricula and the world of work.  The program is an educational opportunity based upon a cooperative arrangement by the College and employers to provide practical work experiences for students.

  3. To provide a no-obligation recruiting line of talent to the Company.

  4. To provide an avenue for the Company to express workforce needs and feedback regarding education and workforce alignment.
