ID Cards and Parking Permits

All students are required to obtain and carry a Southern Union ID Card. These cards can be used for checking out books, residential hall access, and admission to social, cultural,and athletic events, voting in student elections, dining hall privileges and other campus and community activities. Students are encouraged to have some form of identification while on campus.

Students are able to obtain their ID’s from the campus libraries during the hours stated in this notice. All students must have proof of paid registration and a picture ID when they come to have their SUSCC ID taken. If you have been accepted into a special program (nursing, cosmetology, paramedics, etc.) you must notify the staff at the time you have your ID taken so the correct information can be included on your ID card. Lost or stolen ID cards that have not expired can be replaced for a $10 fee. Expired ID cards are replaced at no charge to the student.

  • Opelika Campus

    Daily ID’s:
    July 20 – August 31
    Monday and Tuesday Only:
    September – November 19
    Spring Semester
    Daily ID’s:
    November 20 – January 31
    Monday and Tuesday Only:
    February – April 19
    Summer Semester
    Daily ID’s:
    April 20 – May 31
    Monday and Tuesday Only:
    June  – July 19

8:30 a.m. – noon
1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
5:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m. 8:30 a.m. - noon

Wadley Campus
Monday - Thursday Friday
7:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. 7:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

No IDs are made on Fridays during summer semester.

Parking Permits
Students who have cars on campus are required to obtain a parking permit from the business office. Parking is permitted in designated spaces only and violators will be subject to fines or towing.  For more information on parking regulations, click here.
