Night of Worship with Jeremiah Castille
Former University of Alabama football player Jeremiah Castille will be the keynote speaker at A Night of Worship on September 26, at 7:00 p.m. in Brazeal Auditorium on Southern Union’s Wadley campus.
Castille, who received a football scholarship to the University of Alabama in 1979, and then went on to have a six year career in the National Football League, presently serves as the chaplain for the University of Alabama football team. In 1999, Jeremiah was ordained as a minister at The Church at Brook Hills, and he and his wife, Jean, founded Jeremiah Castille Foundation with Isaiah 61:1-4 as the foundational scripture. Through his Foundation, Castille has offered many leadership and motivational programs.
Sponsored by SUSCC Baptist Campus Ministries (BCM), the night will also feature music by the BCM Praise Band who will be joined by special guests and SU Alumni, Ryan Robertson and Brian Hawkins. The event is open to the public free of charge.
BCM is a non-denominational collegiate ministry that seeks to create a fellowship for students and provide for them experiences of personal Christian growth and maturity.
