Dear Student and Parents:
Welcome to Southern Union residence hall life.
Students living on Southern Union's Wadley Campus form a small
community within the residence hall as well as on the whole campus.
As in every community, policies and procedures
are necessary to protect the rights of individuals and provide
the welfare of the community at large. In keeping with the purpose
of Southern Union, these policies and procedures include the values
and standards of conduct expected of residents. They also express
the individual and corporate responsibilities that are linked
to the rights and privileges of resident students.
Please read the terms and conditions included
in this housing agreement. Complete the agreement and medical
form and return to the business office. I invite you to contact
the residence hall staff if you have any questions concerning
this agreement or housing in general.
We believe the experience of living on campus
is a vital part of the total educational experience of students.
It is our objective to provide a living environment that will
be conducive to the continued growth and realization of the potential
of students at Southern Union.
