  • Adjunct Instructors for Physical Education and/or Health Education courses

    Southern Union State Community College is accepting applications for Adjunct Instructors for Physical Education, Health Education Courses, and Nutrition.  Qualified applicants must possess a master’s degree and have minimum of 18 hours in the respective field.   • Part-time Electricity/Electronics Instructor, Opelika Campus

    Approximately 17 hours per week at $17-$21 per contact hour. Requirements include a minimum of two-year degree in Electricity/Electronics, Industrial Maintenance Technology, or related field; four years of experience in electrical industrial maintenance work in manufacturing environment; ability to teach AC and DC fundamentals; ability to teach troubleshooting, repairing, and routine maintenance of AC and DC motors and motor controls systems; ability to teach basic programming on Allen Bradley SLC 500 PLC using RS Logix software.     Approximately 17 hours per week at $17-$21 per contact hour. Requirements include a minimum of two-year degree in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration; three years of work experience troubleshooting and repairing HVACR systems; ability to teach basic knowledge and skills required to service, troubleshoot, and maintain HVACR systems.
